Newmains United held their end of season dance a while back. We were lucky to have with us Alan Moore, Stirling Albion manager for past 7 seasons (now appointed Greenock Morton manager). The awards for the players were this:

• Sponsors player of the season: Thomas Devine
• Players player of the year: Thomas Devine
• Player of the year: James Kean

We had BBC covering the event so there'll be a last part of their coverage of our club. Other news is that Jordan Electrics and Pink Turban will continue as our sponsors for next season.

Players that'll be with us for next season is: Thomas Devine, James Kean, Gerry Bonham, Gary Murdoch, Jody Thomson, Stevie Mackie, Jason Laffery and Gary Airth. New signings are: Joe Roy, Peter Gormely and Kris, with more signings to come.

The next season is fast approaching and our 1st team will start their pre season next week. More information on that will follow. Our U16 team is set to start their season in August.

And for the new season we'll have a new website up running, hopefully as soon as possible.
